This classic Baldwin baby grand (serial number 87620) was built in Cincinnati in 1939. Its construction and sound are of a quality you don’t often find in modern pianos. It is in good condition, mechanically and visually. The walnut finish has some scratches, but nothing major, and the keys are the original ivory. The action is good, though it needs some work, particularly a couple of slightly sticky bass keys, along with tuning/voicing. It has that consistent Baldwin sound from that time period. Until two years ago, the piano was in an estate in the Cincinnati suburb of Indian Hill. It has many years of good use ahead of it. We are reluctantly selling it because it is too big for our small living room and we were unable to place it elsewhere in the house. Buyer must arrange delivery with a piano mover – can supply recommendation.
